Amesbury Chevrolet Preferred Owner ProgramOverview of the Preferred Owner Program
The Preferred Owner Program is a loyalty program sponsored by Amesbury Chevrolet. Preferred Owner Program members will receive incentive Award Points toward future services for every dollar spent on vehicle purchases, service repairs, parts and accessories up to a maximum of 300 points per transaction from Amesbury Chevrolet.
Amesbury Chevrolet is a full-service maintenance and repair center. As an authorized GM Dealer, our customers are assured of the availability of Genuine GM Parts for all vehicle maintenance and repair needs.
Preferred Owner Rules
1. Amesbury Chevrolet Preferred Owners Program begins on March 24, 2012.
2. Your Preferred Owner Card can be used for any vehicle in your household.
3. Sales, services or purchases prior to March 24, 2012 are not eligible for point’s accumulation.
4. Customers can check their Preferred Owner point standings online at www.amesburychevy.com
5. Award Points are earned by making qualified purchases of products and services only at Amesbury Chevrolet.
6. Members must present a valid Preferred Owner Card at time of purchase in order to accumulate points.
7. Points may only be accumulated at the time the member makes a qualified purchase.
8. Award Points will be posted within 30 days of the qualified transaction.
9. Award Points have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash.
10. Only one account Award Points may be redeemed per vehicle purchase, qualified service or retail parts purchase. Membership and Points may not be transferred from account to account. At no time can members pool accumulated Points to increase standings. Membership and Points can not be bartered, brokered or transferred for any reason including death and domestic matters.
11. Award Points can not be used in conjunction with other Specials or Coupons.
12. All earned Award Points can be redeemed ONLY for future retail purchases at Amesbury Chevrolet.
13. Any items purchased by redeemed points through the Amesbury Chevrolet Preferred Owner Program cannot be returned for cash. All returned items' value at time of purchase will be applied to the Preferred Card. There will be No Exceptions.
14. Award Points can not be used as cash for down payment, cash due on delivery or financing for a new or used vehicle purchase.
15. Qualified purchases include New or Pre-Owned Vehicle purchases, retail parts, vehicle detail services, service repairs, maintenance and accessories. Award Points are earned on customer pay transactions only. Warranty, Insurance, Extended Warranty repairs and goodwill do not qualify for points accumulation. . Preferred Award Points
1. Upon enrollment in the Program, the Preferred Owner will receive an Amesbury Chevrolet Preferred Owner Rewards Card. This card has a total of three tabs that may be used by other members of your household. These cards are to be used for Preferred Owner Program eligible transactions.
A. This card can be used for all vehicles in your household. These vehicles do not need to be GM vehicles to be eligible for Award Points.
2. Amesbury Chevrolet Preferred Owner Award Points can be earned in the following manner:
A. Purchase a New, Certified or Pre-Owned Vehicle and earn 250 Points toward a future purchase of a New, Certified or Pre-Owned Vehicle. These 250 Points can not be combined with GM preferred pricing offers.
B. Each service event (parts and labor) earns 5% of total dollars spent (not including tax) toward a future service, detailing, parts or accessory sale.
C. Each parts and/or accessory purchase earns 5% of total dollars spent (not including tax) toward a future service, detailing, parts or accessory sale. Program Participation
1. Participation in the Amesbury Chevrolet Preferred Owner Program constitutes each Preferred Owner's full and unconditional agreement with the Amesbury Chevrolet Preferred Owner Terms and Conditions.
2. Participation in the Amesbury Chevrolet Preferred Owners Program is offered at the sole discretion of Amesbury Chevrolet and may be terminated at any time without prior notice.
3. Membership cards remain the property of Amesbury Chevrolet and must be surrendered upon request.
4. Amesbury Chevrolet reserves the right to disqualify any person(s) from participation: if in its sole judgment the member violates the rules, terms and regulations governing this program. In the event of disqualification or program termination, accumulated Points will be immediately terminated.
5. Accumulated Points may not be redeemed if you are in default under the terms and conditions of these rules or with any obligation which may be due Amesbury Chevrolet.
6. Program Points redemption is not compatible with any other discount offers. Amesbury Chevrolet reserves the right to determine eligibility.
7. Program Points redemption is not compatible with any and all GM Vehicle Purchase Programs including and not limited to: GM Employee Purchase and Gm Supplier Program, GM Dealership Employee Purchase and USAA Private Offer.
8. Fleet and Wholesale customers are not eligible to participate in the Amesbury Chevrolet Preferred Owners Program.
9. The personal information that is collected from each customer in connection with the Amesbury Chevrolet Preferred Owners Program will be used in accordance with the GM Privacy Policy. Program Terms and Conditions
1. Amesbury Chevrolet may modify any of the terms and conditions governing the Program, including, but may not be limited to the methods through which incentive Award Points can be earned, how the Program can be used, the value of the earned Award Points, at any time, without notice, even though these changes may affect the Reward Owner's ability to use the points that have already been earned.
2. The Program has no pre-determined termination date and may continue until such time that Amesbury Chevrolet may terminate the Program with no notice given.
3. Accrued Preferred Owner Award Points do not constitute property of a Reward Owner and have no value outside of the program. Program Owner Award Points are credits that Amesbury Chevrolet may revoke at any time as set forth herein. Reward Points may not be exchanged for cash, assigned, bartered or transferred except as matter or otherwise by operation of law.
4. Determination of income or tax liability related to the participation in this program is the sole responsibility of the participating member. Neither Amesbury Chevrolet, General Motors, FMReps Distribution Inc., nor any affiliates make any representation as to the current or future tax consequences to the participating member as to the crediting, transferring, use, redemption, or disposition of program earnings.
5. Each Amesbury Chevrolet Preferred Owner Program Member is responsible for ensuring that the information in his/her account is accurate and kept current.
6. These Terms and Conditions are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Massachusetts, US; as such laws are applied to agreements entered into and to be performed entirely within Massachusetts. These Terms and Conditions and any documents it incorporates set forth the entire understanding between the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof.
7. Abuse of the Amesbury Chevrolet Preferred Owner Program (including failure to follow program policies and procedures, the sale or barter of awards and any misrepresentation of fact relating thereto or other improper conduct, as determined by Amesbury Chevrolet in its' sole judgment, any untoward or harassing behavior with reference to any Amesbury Chevrolet employee or any refusal to honor Amesbury Chevrolet employee's instructions) may result in cancellation of the member's account and future disqualification from the Amesbury Chevrolet Preferred Owner Program participation and forfeiture of all Award Points accrued. Amesbury Chevrolet reserves the right to take appropriate legal action, as it deems necessary, and to recover damages, attorney's fees and court costs.
8. Limitation of Liability governs that each Amesbury Chevrolet Preferred Owner Program member accepts all responsibility for and hereby indemnifies and holds harmless Amesbury Chevrolet, and each of their related companies (General Motors) and respective officers, directors, employees, shareholders, agents and successors and assigns the Released Parties from and against any claims that may arise from actions taken by such Member or for any unauthorized access to Amesbury Chevrolet Preferred Owner's account from a third party. Under no circumstances, including but not limited to negligence, shall the Released Parties be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of the program. By participating in the Program, a Amesbury Chevrolet Preferred Owner Program Rewards Member waives any and all rights to bring any claim or action related to such matters in any forum beyond one (1) year after the first occurrence of the kind of act, event, condition or omission upon which the claim or action is based.
9. If any provision of these Amesbury Chevrolet Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be severed from the remainder of these Amesbury Chevrolet Terms and Conditions, which will otherwise remain in force.
