Top Trim Levels and Features
The Silverado 1500 Work Truck is the bare bones trim, which is ideal for work sites around Portsmouth, also called commercial or fleet trucks. Some standard tech features include a 7.0-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth®, keyless entry, Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™ and six speakers. It also features 17-inch steel wheels, power mirrors, cloth or vinyl seats, cargo lamps and single-zone air conditioning.
The Custom trim adds more tech, including power driver seats, SiriusXM®, smart device integration, Wi-Fi hotspot and remote engine start. The LT trim comes standard with features such as climate control, cruise control, multi-zone air conditioning, leather seats and a 13.4-inch touchscreen.
The Custom Trail Boss trim is made for off-roading coming equipped with recovery hooks, the Z71 off-road package and trailering package. All Chevrolet Silverado 1500 trims include the Chevy Safety Assist Package, which includes auto high beams, forward collision alert, lane-keeping assist and following distance indicator.
Engine and Capability
The new Chevy Silverado 1500 offers you a 2.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 310 horsepower on the Work Truck to Trail Boss trim. The standard transmission is eight-speed automatic, but there is an available 10-speed automatic.
However, if you want more power for driving around Salisbury, there are two V8 engine options and an available turbodiesel engine. If you're into off-road adventures in Haverhill, the V8 engine allows you to choose the Z71 Off-Road Package.
The EPA-estimated fuel economy for the base engine is 19 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway. The 3.0-liter diesel engine offers you a better fuel economy of 23 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway.
