The 2025 Corvette Lineup: The Ideal Machine With a Need for Speed!

There are few things as thrilling as rolling down the road on a sunny afternoon in a high-performance vehicle. Other motorists move to the right as you prepare to pass, their passengers’ heads turning as you cruise by. However, for so many drivers, this seems but a dream. With European supercars commanding prices in the mid to high six figures, few can afford to make this dream a reality.
Until they realize that Chevrolet, one of America’s leading brands, has made this dream possible with generations of the Chevy Corvette for sale. Starting in 2020 when Chevy rolled out the C8 Corvette, this legendary vehicle has had a mid-engine design, boosting performance while retaining the sleek looks you fell in love with in the first place. The Corvette is a dream car within reach of most drivers, and at Amesbury Chevrolet, we are honored to present the 2025 Corvette, giving you the choice of four models so you can find one that will work best for you.
The 2025 Corvette Stingray
Available in coupe and convertible bodies, the Corvette Stingray is a classic sports car that will provide you and your closest friend with an incredible driving experience. No matter which one you choose, you can get the thrill of the open road, with the coupe providing a removable roof panel so you can let the outdoors inside as you race down the track or cruise along a country road.
The Stingray rides on a set of Michelin Pilot Sport All-Season tires. These are designed for performance, giving just enough grip to hold the road on sharp turns while not interfering with the acceleration of this gorgeous machine. Its rear-wheel drivetrain maximizes speed, and Chevy has equipped it with a 6.2-liter “LT2” V8 gas engine and an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, combining the engagement of a manual with the smoothness and convenience of an automatic.
The double paddle declutch feature on the transmission allows you to disengage the clutch by holding down both paddles, letting you emulate the performance of a manual sports car. The pushrod, 16-valve engine comes with two possible configurations: The base delivers 490 hp at 6,450 RPM and 465 lb-ft of torque at 5,150 RPM, but if you opt for the Z51 Performance Package, your output boosts to 495 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque, propelling the Stingray from 0-60 mph in just 2.9 seconds. This is the kind of acceleration most thrill-seekers are sure to love.

The 2025 Corvette E-Ray
Introduced in 2024, the Corvette E-Ray is the newest member of the family. This hybrid version of the popular supercar provides electrified all-wheel-drive fun, given that it pairs the 6.2-liter “LT2” V8 gas engine with a front AC motor powered by a 1.1-kWh liquid-cooled lithium-ion battery pack. This helps boost output to a total of 655 hp and 595 lb-ft of torque, which helps to get the Corvette E-Ray from 0-60 mph in an eye-blinking 2.5 seconds. In addition, with a hybrid powertrain, the E-Ray can get 19 MPG combined—an impressive number for a supercar like the Corvette.
The all-wheel drivetrain on the Corvette E-Ray will help you get better on-road traction, as it assists in holding tight turns, especially in inclement weather. Like the other Corvette models, you get an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, giving you everything you want in a manual transmission without the headaches of working a clutch and a shift.
By choosing the E-Ray, you get many of the things you know and love about the Stingray with the added benefits of a hybrid powertrain. Both models ride on Michelin Pilot Sport All-Season tires while also providing you with a choice of a coupe or convertible body. Like the Stingray, the E-Ray coupe has removable roof panels, making driving in warm weather more enjoyable. The E-Ray also has a sleek, cutting-edge design that lets other drivers know you are unmistakably in a Corvette.
The 2025 Corvette Z06
One of two high-performance Corvette variants, the Z06 combines a powerful engine with a body designed for style and speed. This includes a quad-center exhaust and a spoiler that do more than just help the Corvette Z06 look cool. Available as a coupe or convertible, the Corvette Z06 lets you decide what you want in your sports car.
The 2025 Corvette Z06 comes with a 5.5-liter “LT6” V8 gas engine and an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. This engine has a dual overhead camshaft configuration (DOHC), providing 32 valves for its eight cylinders; it is a high-output flat plane crank engine with an 8,600-RPM redline, allowing you to maximize output as it provides up to 670 hp at 8,400 RPM and 460 lb-ft of torque at 6,300 RPM. This will get you from 0-60 mph in just 2.7 seconds, with a top speed of 189 mph.
Chevy also offers this variant with a Z07 Performance Package, which comes with 4-wheel disc carbon ceramic Brembo brakes and a carbon-fiber high-wing rear spoiler while replacing the Michelin Pilot Sport tires with a set of Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires. Equipping the Z07 outfit improves the performance of the Corvette Z06, giving you 0-60 mph acceleration in just 2.6 seconds and the capability to complete the quarter-mile in just 10.5 seconds at 131 mph. This is the kind of performance that will drive a thrill-seeker wild.
The 2025 Corvette ZR1
The folks at Chevy are always pushing the envelope, and this is the case with the 2025 Corvette ZR1—about as powerful of a sports car you can get that’s street-legal. Like the other Corvette models, the ZR1 gives you a choice of hardtop coupe or soft-top convertible, yet it takes things to the max with an engine that delivers some ridiculous specs. This sleek and sexy beast has a 5.5-liter “LT7” V8, a twin-turbocharged version of the engine on the Corvette Z06.
This V8 also has a DOHC configuration with 32 valves for its eight cylinders and comes with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. However, this V8 has an 8,000-RPM redline, courtesy of its twin turbochargers, so it makes 1,064 hp at 7,000 RPM and 828 lb-ft of torque at 6,000 RPM—just the type of output you would expect on a supercar. Whether you are taking the Corvette ZR1 on the track or just out on a weekend road trip, you’ll get unrivaled speed and acceleration. When equipped with the ZTK Performance Package, the ZR1 will go from 0-60 mph in just 2.3 seconds with a top speed of 233 mph. It can also tackle the quarter-mile in just 9.6 seconds at 150 mph, making it a sports car not for the faint of heart.
Chevy gives ZR1 drivers a choice of Michelin Pilot Sport and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup performance tires. This model also has a ZR1 performance suspension with Magnetic Selective Ride Control; this damping system reads the road every millisecond and makes constant adaptations, giving you the smoothest ride you have ever experienced in a sports car. In all, the 2025 Corvette ZR1 delivers an exhilarating experience that is only equaled by much more expensive sports cars.
